My workshops are designed to support creativity, presence, and shared breath.
I work from the principle that everyone has their own voice, and unlocking it doesn’t require a musical education — just a supported space, courage, and deep listening to one another.
At the heart of the trainings are guided vocal improvisation, voice games (inspired by Anne-Liis Poll, PhD), voice and breath work, and collective music-making.

Karolin’s Story: How I Found My Way to Voice, Improvisation, and Facilitating Workshops
I have grown up surrounded by music – not within the rules of classical music education, but by discovering the magical world of music in a free and intuitive way. I never attended a formal music school. I had a piano teacher who came to our home, and I’ve taken a few private guitar lessons. I’ve been singing in vocal groups since early childhood and have continued into adulthood.
Already in middle school, my secret place was behind the piano or guitar – often not playing from sheet music, but rather guided by intuition and playful freedom. When studying became exhausting, I would pick up an instrument and let the sounds flow – it cleared my mind, brought clarity, and gave me the strength to keep going. There was a deep passion for music within me, and that passion carried me forward.
Driven by this inner calling, I enrolled at Tallinn University to study music. My bachelor’s thesis focused on adaptation during pregnancy through guided voice improvisation – I explored how the voice can be supportive, empowering, and therapeutic. It was during my second year at university that I discovered improvisation as something truly transformative – and honestly, that discovery helped me finish school at all.
That’s when I found out that it’s actually possible to study improvisation at the master's level in Estonia. I applied to the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and completed a master’s degree in contemporary improvisation. I studied under Anne-Liis Poll, PhD, whose voice improvisation method is grounded in Estonian contemporary music, theatre, body and breath work, and elements of psychotherapy. These years of study were intense, liberating, and deeply enriching.
Through my studies, I found my voice – not only as a sound or musical instrument but as a means of self-expression, healing, and connection. I realized that voice is one of the most powerful tools we all carry within us – we use it every day, yet often remain unaware of its true potential.
Now I share this journey through my own trainings and workshops. I create safe and supportive spaces where participants can reconnect with their voice, creativity, and presence – regardless of their musical background. I believe that everyone has a voice, and opening it doesn’t require formal training, just courage, support, and deep listening to ourselves and one another.
